Dunkin Donuts created a Facebook page and in January they took full advantage of the 370,000 brand fans who had registed as a friend of Dunkin Donuts.  The company wanted to get the word out about their healthy choice menu options and did this through Facebook and an email campaign from registered users who have opted into receiving their newsletters.  Mr. David Tryder from Dunkin Donuts explained that the Donut giant received an immense amount of feedback from customers in regard to the Facebook campaign.  It was an easy and cost effective way for Dunkin Donuts to get the word out to the public.
